How to create user personas for your business

How to create user personas for your business

How to build user personas for your website..

How well do you know your customers or your ideal customers?

Over the last five years, I have been working on developing great user personas for my business. What I have found, is that by doing this I am able to adapt my business and create better solutions for my audience.

Why?..

Because the goal is to target the most ideal customer possible.

Furthermore, another thing I have learned, is that most websites or products are not based on user needs. Instead, websites and campaigns are being built on the best trends of 2017, 2016….
I am sure you have seen websites and post with ‘Best website design trends of 2017’.

As a result, we are seeing websites, campaigns and products based on trends and not needs and websites that look the same as others.

The goal of doing user personas or buyer personas is to understand your customers goals. As a result, it is key to identify their background story, demographics, needs and goals. Furthermore, it will help you understand their interests and the tone of voice to use when engaging with them.

The results?

Well you get to understand them better and communicate better with them. Overall, this is what inbound marketing and growth driven design are all about. Engaging rather than disrupting.

Today, my goal is to show you how to do this even if you are just starting blogging or new in business. It works for both online and offline businesses. In addition, I will share with you the best method to do this, by using a template that is great and easy to use.

Before we dive into the process and the benefits, let’s talk about the personas we are about to work on.

What are user personas or personas?

In simple words, it is your ideal customer, reader or user. In addition, it is the fictional person or group of persons you build to identify your key customers.

If you are a new business, it is key to identify your ideal customers. Also, it is key to do this even if you are identifying your brand and not only when you are doing a website or product.

For those who have been in business for a long time, this process is a lot easier as you already know who your customers are. In addition, it is key that you do this for any new project that requires your team to know the customers you are targeting.

how to create user personas

So why User Personas are important then?

  • Allows you to create products base on your customers’ needs and goals

  • Helps designers and developers create website with a User Experience based on actual customers

  • Gives marketers the ability to create powerful marketing campaigns

  • Helps you understand your customers needs and goals better

  • Helps you identify your main customers

  • Gives you the ability to align your business goals with the people that love your product

How to create user personas for your business?

The first thing you have to do here is to give your ideal customer a real name and a category.

Why?..

You want to feel connected to them. If you name them client 1 or 2, there is no connection between the two of you.

But, if you name your client Mary and put her in the Marketing director category, there is a connection that is instantly created.

userpersona

From there, you look at the overview of this person. Start by discussing their background. Here are a few questions to help you with this section.

1. What she / he likes to do
2. What she / he does at work?
3. How do they feel about they do ?
4. What are her hobbits or what she does after work?

Then start working on her demographics..

Let’s talk about her age, culture and other aspects that make up a persons demographics.

Here is a few examples..

Age: 30
Married
2 Children
Lives in the City
Makes x amount of money per year
Husband is an architect
Is very active (for fitness companies)

user demograpics

From here you can move on into the pre-sales section. Here you will look at her goals, the problems that she might be having and your solution for this (value proposition).

It is key to identify at least 3 – 5 goals that your ideal customer is looking to achieve.

Then we move into identifying the problems they are having. They key here is to identify a solution for each problem.

The worst thing you can do is identify a problem for a client and not give them a solution. So identify 3 – 5 problems and give them each a solution with one of your services or products.

user goals

One of the elements that helps us connect better with people and clients is to understand their emotions. The way they feel before they buy from us and the way we make them feel after they are your clients.

So divide emotions into two. First, is what they are feeling before they buy..

This can be stressed, excited, worried...

Then look into describing how they felt after the bought from you…
From here you are now able to understand and engage your new customer. You are understanding their emotions and learning about their needs and the value you are creating for them. Now, it is time to create a quick elevator pitch for this client category…
I am sure you have seen the TV show ‘Shark Tank‘. In this great tv show,  entrepreneurs go to make a hopefully good pitch to investors. Well, the pitch you want to write here, is not as big, but it is even more powerful.
Why?
Because you do not have 5 – 10 minutes to tell your clients what you do, why you are the right choice and the results you can achieve. Instead, you have just a few seconds or minutes to do this.
If you are not too sure on what this is, in simple words it is a persuasive speech you use to tell your ideal customer what your value proposition is.
Customers actually take about 20 seconds to make a decision once they enter your website. Hence, having a message that speaks in your customers voice is key at the start of your page.
Take a look at this website, where you can learn to create a great pitch for your user personas.
Most of the time when learning how to create user personas, this is where the tutorial ends. The problem is that this is just the pre sale part of your customer or user journey. Whether you have a blog or business your goal is to keep and continue to drive your customer to your website or business.
Hence, when I am teaching how to create user personas or working on creating my own personas, I do two more steps.
Not every sale is closed right away. As a result, the user is not a client, but a lead. So for you to be able to increase the percentage of leads that become clients, you need to understand the following:
  • Customers goals (6 to 12 months goals)after they have learned about you. Can you help them achieve these goals?
  • Biggest on boarding Challenges and your solutions to these challenges (Come up with at least 3)
  • Biggest new customer challenges and your solutions

Once you have these questions answered you are able to easier transform leads into customers. One of the greatest platforms where you can keep track of where your customers are in the customer journey is Hubspot. And it is completely FREE.

From here, you need to imagine that you have successfully get this customer or user to read and share your blog. When we are looking at how to create user personas we need to think about their goals when they sign up to work with us.

Let’s do this again in a 6 to 12 month goals plan, but think about it as if they are now your customers. Also, you have to think about the on boarding challenges that your customer will have in order to remain a client for long period of time.

Come up with a few challenges and some great solutions. In this post on how to create user personas, my goal was to give you an easy way to do this. As a result, I strongly recommend you to download the template we have created for you. As a result, you can follow this post and work on your user personas.

I strongly suggest you to do at least 3 personas categories. Keep in mind, that you can create multiple variations of the same persona. If you think this was useful, make sure to share it with your social media communities.

If you have any questions or got other methods that can help others to learn how to build user personas, share them below! let’s create a discussion.

Marketing on Facebook can help you save time and money!

All companies are taking great advantage of social media. They are using it to generate leads and turn them into customers. With the help of companies like Facebook we are able to expand our reach world wide.

Have you ever wondered how you can improve your social media marketing? We all have!

One thing about social media marketing is that it can take a lot of your time if not managed right. As I work with clients to improve their social media presence, I have noticed a few patterns. These patterns have allowed me to create succesful campaigns for them and for my companies.

Before I dive in with you to talk about the different steps you can take, let’s talk about Facebook for a bit.

Did you know Facebook alone has over 1.654 billion users? Guess what? These users are actively engaged with content posted by businesses like yours. Most people spend at least 20 minutes on Facebook before they move on to other social platforms. This gives you great opportunities to show case your business.

In the last quarter of Facebook, they told us that there are over 50 million businesses. Also, most of them are creating ads or boosting posts.

Yes, Facebook makes great profits…

Let’s talk about marketing on Facebook. In this blog, I will show 5 easy steps that will help you to do better social media marketing.

Analyze your competitors

The best way to find out where to start, is by analyzing doing this main step.

Competitor’s analysis allows you to see:

  • What they are doing
  • The type of content they are using
  • Their strategy

If you are familiar with Facebook insights, you will know about an option called ‘Pages to Watch‘. This option may not provide you with a lot of data, but it is good to add your competitors to this list.

How to do this:

To find this feature, scroll all the way down on your insights page and you will see ‘Pages to Watch’. Here you can add your competitors pages or look at what Facebook recommends.  When this feature was first released, we were only able to see the total page likes. As from the last update you will be able to see:

  • The number of posts per week
  • User engagement
  • New  likes
  • Engagement report

Understand your Facebook Audience

Many people do not pay attention to their audience. As a result, a lot of the time and money spent on social media will not create a return of investment. Facebook insights allows you to see everything from posts to demographics.

If you click on the Insights tab, you will see on the left side an option titled ‘People’.

Click on it and it will show you all your demographics.

You will be able to see your fans, people who have already liked your page and, people who your posts have reached to. From working on your business you will know which is your target demographic. If you do not have one yet, check out my blog on 4 ways to create your target market.

When to post on Facebook

This is one of the most asked questions by my clients. If I were to tell you a specific time or tell you the one for my company, it will only harm your business. Posting on Facebook takes time, if you want to make this an easier tasks make sure to use a post planner tool.

Hootsuite: Allows you to link all your social media platforms into one account. The basic solutions are free, and let’s you schedule posts to your facebook page.

Postplanner: This web application is great, I have been using it for a while now. It allows you to schedule post is a organized manner, but also gives you content that is engaging! Makes the job a lot easier. Unlike Hootsuite, Post Planner is not FREE. The cost is just $7USD per month and allows you to sync different social pages into one platform.

Now that you have the tools to schedule your post, let’s go to Facebook to find out when is the best time to schedule. Click on the insight tab and choose ‘Posts’. The first thing you will see is a graph that tells you when your visitors are online.

This varies from business to business. Actually, from page to page. In the image below, you will notice some of the peek times are 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 6:00pm, 8:00pm. Just above this graph you will be able to see the days from Sunday to Saturday. This will help you in scheduling more posts for the days you have more users.

What to post of Facebook

Your posts on facebook needs to be engaging. Getting your readers attention right away. You need to try to use posts like ‘5 ways to do XYZ’ or ’10 best real estate opportunities’. This type of post drives users into trying to find out more. In previous blogs I wrote on 4 tips for better content marketing. Improving your content will help you rank and make your users share your content.

Let’s look at how to do this through analytics. If you go back to your insight page, click on the option ‘Posts’. At the top of the page you will see another option ‘Post Types’. This option allows you to see which type of posts are working better. It gives you the ability to see if your images are more effective than link posts or even videos. To the right, it shows you the average engagement and reactions to your post. Look for the highest one, and pay attention to what made that post rank better.

Create landing pages within Facebook

Landing pages are different from web pages and your home page. The purpose of this type of pages is to help you sale a product, get leads or signs ups.

There are many tools that you can use if you do not know how to code.

One of the tools I will recommend is Wishpond. This application allows you to create  landing, pop ups and other marketing strategies.  What makes this tool so great, is that the templates available are all set to convert.

Another plus I will give Wishpond, is the ability it gives you to create landing pages for your website and Facebook. As a result, you can use it as a lead generation tool on social media.

Get more people to view your post

This is one of the statements i hear the most. Facebook has release media about this concern. They said that this can happen due to:

  • We are not sharing enough content through the day
  • The algorithm used by Facebook was build to show more relevant information to its users.

To give yourself the best chance of making it into your fans’ feeds, use the following strategies for your organic posts:

  • Use videos as part of your posting strategy. Videos attract 75% more users than any other type of media. Previous research showed that videos converted 8.7% better than images.
  • Check your page Insight: Take a look at your insight to see what has worked better in the past. If you notice a trend, then start to work with it.
  • Create Engaging content: If you are promoting post or adding a video, make sure your content is engaging. You want users to read or listen to what you have to say and share it after.

Use paid ads to improve marketing on facebook

Even though it is good to get organic likes to your post or page, you may want to add a paid option to this. Currently, on Facebook you will find two main ways to use paid advertising.

Post boosts: Boosting a post will increase it’s visibility in users’ newsfeeds. You can choose to have your post shown to your page fans, friends of your fans, or a custom target market. Targeting options for your posts include interests, age, gender, and location.

How to do this?

  1. Click on ‘Boost’ when creating a new post. You will also find this setting on old posts if you want to boost a post that’s already been published.

Using this method is a quick and easy way to extend your post’s reach. I would recommend you to boost post that are from your website or content relevant to you.

Promoted posts: This option gives more options to promote than the Boost post option.

To access this option, you need to go to the Facebook’s Ad Generator. Even though it serves the same purpose as Boosting, it will give you better budgeting and targeting options.

When to promote a post on Facebook

Promoting a post needs to be a smart decision. Generally speaking, you will promote posts help you achieve a goal, like driving traffic to your website. When you have a strong post to promote, I will recommend if you use the following formula:

Best practices for promoting or ‘stirring’ a Facebook post include asking yourself a number of questions about the shelf-life (S), timing (T), impact (I) and results (R) of your post, as seen here:

Facebook ads: Facebook offers a variety of other advertising options apart from promoting a single post. You can choose your ad type based on many objectives. As we’ve already discussed, one of these objectives is boosting or promoting a post.

Rotate your ad every 1-2 weeks: Particularly if you’re using specific targeting for your ad (and are therefore advertising over and over to a relatively small audience), it’s important to change up your ad’s image and copy every week or two. Using the same content over and over will result in “ad fatigue” or “banner blindness”, decreasing the chances of your ad getting noticed and clicked on.

Conclusion for marketing on Facebook

Now you have the basics to help you with your marketing on Facebook.

Using a platform like Facebook for marketing your business is a great idea. The market reach on this platform is great and will continue to expand. Understanding your audience is key, as well as providing great content.

Use social media to educate your clients, give them a behind the scenes of what your business is doing and keep them engaged.

On your daily routine you will find yourself doing the following:

  • writing blogs
  • sharing
  • responding to what your users are saying.

But to do all these you need certain key elements to help you have a fast and reliable website.

Before you dive into ensuring you have fast website, ensure the user-experience is great.

To designers who want to learn about UX, make sure to check out theskool channel on youtube. Chris Do and Jose Caballer teach how to design with the user in mind.

At LionDevelopment I have noticed a few trends. On projects where UX was not key, we are seeing more than 57% drop offs. but, on projects where UX was key, users stay up to 15 mins.

Why?

The websites were design for their use and interaction. Also, attractive websites get your user’s attention.

Now that we know what UX can do, let’s keep something in  mind. The plugins I am about to share might not help you with the UX, but they can help with the experience of your site a bit.

Let’s begin by talking about wordpress plugins that will help speed up your WordPress website

#1 W3 Total Cache: One of the biggest issues I heard from people who use WordPress is that the websites are too slow. Guess what? because of technology our attention spam is lower, and if we cannot get to something fast, we move on to the next one.

If your site takes more than 2 seconds to load, you will noticed a great amount of drop offs. If you are interesting in seeing the time your site takes to load check out MOZ extension for chrome. It is a FREE extension.

W3 Total Cache is a plugin for eliminating re-downloading of redundant data on browser. It can create static caches for each page so that it is dynamically loaded on each page load.

#2 Wp – Smush: One of the biggest issues that I can see on most websites is the images. But, how can you have great quality images if the file size is small? It is possible!

Here is where this plugin comes in. Wp-Smush allows you to compress images  by compressing extra hidden information of the images.

There is a FREE version to this plugin that allows you to smush 50 images at a time. If you would like to bulk smush images, you can get the pro version for just a few bucks.

For those who need more quality images, checkout a website named www.tinypng.com. It allows you to compress images up to 80% and keep a great quality!

#3 Gzip Ninja Compressor: It is a simple plugin that allows you to quickly compress and GZip your site. Only Works On Apache Servers (almost all WordPress installs are on Apache Servers). This will give you the ability to increase your speed and even your rank in Google from a speed increase

Now to getting new leads with WordPress

#4 Wishpond Plugin: This plugin is one of a kind! It allows you to create amazing Landing Pages for your website or product. It comes with a simple lead management dashboard and many templates.

It is not all FREE, but the FREE version allows you to do a lot with it. If you have a few extra bucks on your budget you should get one of the paid packages. It will be money well invested.

#5 HelloBar: If you know about Neil Patel then I am sure you know about HelloBar. This plugin has a free version that allows you create pop ups. From promoting a product, to getting  Facebook likes.

The FREE version allows you to create pops ups, but not 100% customized and with the HelloBar Logo. You will most likely have seen the version we have once you entered our home page here at Lion Development.

Improve On-page SEO:12 ways to help your rank better

Improve On-page SEO:12 ways to help your rank better

Improve SEO with this 12 easy steps

When you think SEO, you think about On-Page and Off page SEO. I am sure you have heard about all the different setting you need to have on your site.

Here I will provide with a practical guide on how to improve On-page SEO. As a result, you will have a page that is capable of improving  your rankings and traffic to your website.

What will you learn today:

How to make SEO-Friendly Urls:

Google likes to see URLs that can tell them what the page is about. They have also stated that the urls need to be short, as it makes the urls more powerful.

Make sure your urls are short and have the targeted keyword in it. This will help you improve On-page SEO ranking for that specific keyword.

Let me show you an example:
Bad URL: http://leopoldopirela.com/p=?4512
Great URL: http://leopoldopirela.com/improve-on-page-seo

Note:Readers are more likely to click on a link that can understood.

Here is how you can do this in WordPress

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Permalink
  3. Choose Post name

How to place keywords:

If you are writing a blog, then you already did the keyword research needed. If not, don’t worry.

The  first place where we are going to place your keywords is on your title. The closer your keyword is to the beginning of a paragraph or title the more powerful it becomes.

Once you begin to write the content, you need to start placing the keyword throughout the content. Also, make sure you do not over flow the content with the targeted keyword. If you are using YOAST SEO, you will see the amount of times you have used the keyword.

The previous blog I wrote had over 1100 words, the target keyword is found 7 times through the content.

I took this tip from Brian at Back Linko:

“You don’t always need to start your title tag with your target keyword. But if there’s a keyword that you’re gunning for, try to put it towards the beginning of your title. “- Brian

Use different title tags

If you are using WordPress you will see the different title types, from H1 to H5. Since you have the ability to use them, I will show you how to use in the correct form.

Let’s start with h1 titles, this is the title tag WordPress will use to print the title of your blog. So, make sure it is eye catching and drives readers into reading more.

Remember titles tags work in a hierarchy form. So, you will start with H1 and work down to h2 and h3 titles. Also, one tactic that has worked great for me, is to add a title tag within every 250 to 300. As a result, It gives the readers a break from reading and gets them involve into what you have to say next.

How to use images to help to Improve On-page SEO

Paragraphs and titles can only take your content to a certain level. So to improve On-page SEO what you can do is enhance the content on your website with images, great images. I am sure you have noticed in all my blogs, after a few paragraphs you will see an image related to my content.

Digital Marketers like Neil Patel have used great info graphics as forms of images. As a result, he is able to explain thousands of line of content with a few images.

Optimize images

One the disadvantages of images is that they will slow down your website. But, there is a solution for that!

If you are using Photoshop, you can save your images for the web. There is a tool I love to use, the name is TinyPng. This tool allows you to save images at a low file size, but with great quality. Don’t believe me? give it a try.

Let’s talk about improving your On-page SEO with image. By now, you should have images in your content, so let’s make them do the work. All images have a title and Alt Tag, you can use this to add targeted  keywords. Make sure all your images have a Alt Tag description. Also, make sure to add your targeted keyword here.

Use of responsive design

Over 80% of website’s users are reading content from their mobile devices. So, why only focus on how your content reads on a computer.

A few months ago, google decided to penalize all websites that are not mobile friendly. If your site is not mobile friendly, I will recommend you to ensure you fix this issue before you proceed any further.

Internal Links

I love to use internal links to drive my users to read more content on my website.  Also, it allows me to keep my users in the website for a bit longer. As a result, the time on the website has increased from 1 minute to 00:06:56 minutes.

They key with internal links, is not just to add crazy internal links through out your blog. Instead, use this to create connections among your blogs.

If you go to the first blog post I wrote, you will how I have internally linked that blog post to the rest of my website.

Outbound links

Outbound links are external links you have on your content. I would recommend you to have at least 5 external links. Also, make sure these links are going to powerful sources. As a result, google will see your website’s content as being powerful.

Page Speed

If you ever read the google’s algorithm for SEO, you will remember page speed is part of it.  You can improve it by compressing images, having a great host, compressing html, css and removing JS form the top of your page. This will give you a great boost to improve on-page SEO perfomance.

Make sure your website does not go over 4 seconds to load. Here is an interested research’s result.

MunchWeb found that 75% of users wouldn’t re-visit a site that took longer than 4 seconds to load.

There are a few FREE tools to check the speed of your website. The first one is Google’s Page speed. It works, but some times it  is not accurate. The second tool is GTMETRIX, this tools is a bit more accurate than the previous tool.

I am currently working on continue to enhance my page speed. Here are my results at this moment.

Social Sharing

Social Sharing is key to improve traffic to your website. Keep in mind, social signals do not directly help you improve on-page SEO, but they help you get noticed.

The more people you have liking and sharing your content, the more trustworthy you will be.

Most studies on this topic show that adding social share buttons to your website can increase sharing by 700%.

Create Powerful Content

Content is great for adding targeted key words, and helping your users stay on your page. Also, long content is even better!

Any time I write a blog I try to aim for 1200 words the least. Studies show that blogs with 1000 – 5000 words tend to rank better than anything else.

If you do a quick search on Google on any specific topic, you will see the longest post are always in the top 10.

Keep users on your site

The last part has to deal with keeping users on your website. If someone visits your websites and closes it one time, Google will see it as your content is not relevant.

The way you can increase this time is by implementing the above tip. Long blogs will keep users engaged and reading.

Conclusion:

I have shared with you the tips that can help you improve On-Page SEO. Make sure to download my check list, and keep it next to you when writing your blogs.

Content Marketing: 6 great methods to promoting your content right away

Content Marketing: 6 great methods to promoting your content right away

Content Marketing: 6 great methods to promoting your content right away

A few weeks ago, I started to work on creating great content. And now, I am working on finding the best strategies for content marketing.

One of my first posts was about starting a new blog and making it profitable. To assist with this goal, I need to ensure my content can reach my target market.

As a result, I have started to work with a marketing funnel that will help me reach my target audience.

There are some people whose marketing strategies have helped them reach 1000+ daily readers. One thing they all have in common, is the great content they are sharing.

This post will cover some of the best content marketing strategies that you can start using to promote your content. Also, the most successful marketers are using them, and getting great results.

let’s dive right into today’s topic.

When you think about content marketing, think about three main things.

1. Creating great content

2. Making sure you have index it into Google and Bing

3. Promoting this content to your target audience.

So far, I have showed  you how to write great content. Now, I will show you ways to promote it.

#1 Strategy to promote new content: Mail List

If you are looking to promote content, creating  mailing list is a top priority. As a result, you will be able to tell your members about your blog post any time you publish new content.

There are a couples ways I will recommend you to do this. First, you can create an email with part of the article and then add a read more to it. Second, you can create the email with an introduction and a few of your best blog posts.

One thing I will encourage, is to create personalized emails. There is nothing worst for user engagement than sending the same template to your users.

Example:

Hi Name,

#2 Strategy to promote new content: Use Twitter and Instagram

Ever since I have been an active member on Twitter and Instagram, my website traffic has skyrocketed. I have increased my posts to multiple times per day on twitter and created an engaging image for Instagram.

For twitter, I will post about my new content in the morning, midday, and night time. Actually, may be even more.

I will recommend for you to try different times of the day, plan or schedule your posts. As a result, you will see what your followers are responding to better.

Why does this work? Well think about it this way.

If you get 40 likes in the morning on your first tweet, then 40 more on the midday one. You will have 80 likes on your post by mid day. The key to this, is to also write engaging head lines so your users will want to click your link.

This strategy has boosted my content marketing strategy. Actually, within two weeks, I have also started to grow my Instagram followers to 100 new followers per week. As a result,  I am getting traffic from Instagram and Twitter directly to my website.

#3 Strategy to promote new content: Post it on Facebook and boost it

If your audience is on Facebook, you should be promoting your content there. This platform has over 989 million daily users! If you can get 1% of this daily users to read your content, you are on your way to success.

This platform allows you to share content with a targeted audience. Also, you can add $1 or $2 to boost your post.

On a previous post, I spoke about ways to help you market better with Facebook. I will suggest you to read it before you boost a post.

For Facebook there are a few strategies you want to use. First, start with a catchy headline. Second, if you can, share it directly from your website. Third, add an image to the post through Facebook. Last, see which is the best time to boost your post.

#4 Strategy to promote new content: Join and post on social media groups

If you are part of social media groups on Facebook or Linkedin, use this to your advantage. One thing to keep in mind, is that the content you are about to share needs to be relevant to the group.

Let’s say you are not part of any big groups yet, why not start with a like and comment on a group? These type of groups allow you to build a huge reach as it benefits you and the other group members.

#5 Strategy to promote new content: Research people who have interest in your topic

While you were working on your content, you most likely reached a few other articles.

Use the URLS you find on Google and search for them on Twitter. As result, you will be able to see who has shared them or liked the posts.

Once you have done this, communicate with them through a direct message. Also, you can create email templates for occasions like this, you can ask them to read your article, and if liked, let them share it.

#6 Strategy to promote new content: Turn your content into a slide or guide

Your content can take shape in more than one place. If you are looking at Slideshare, they have over 10 million unique visitors every month. Also, this slide sharing website ranks in the top 100 websites world wide.

When using slider share, make sure you optimize the description and title of your slides. One thing to note, is that this application allows Google and Bing to crawl the page.

In most of my post you will see an ‘add email to download guide‘. The reason behind this, is that my users are not online all the time. Most of them have tablets and smart phones, where they can download my content and read it at any time they want.

The above strategy can also help you create an email list, that will help you to do the first strategy in this post.
